Not everyone has heard of Mesothelioma; a long word and hard to say. It’s a deadly cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. It affects the lungs or the lining of the abdomen. Mesothelioma takes a long time to develop from exposure until symptoms occur.
We at ARC AID are passionate about raising awareness and funds to help research new medicines and we are appealing now for volunteers in our one and only shop.
About the Role:

We need people with knowledge and love of retail and who enjoy the interaction with the public. We always aim to work with a daily rota of two in the mornings and two in the afternoons. We need cheery volunteers to help with sorting donations, steaming, arranging, maybe pricing and selling items. All sales have to be recorded. From our shop and events we raise money for Mesothelioma UK and Asbestos Support Central England but at the moment we really need extra help.
