This role involves spreading the word to our local community about what our Read Easy group does and how people can get the reading support they need or volunteer to help. In this role you will:
- Create content for our page on the Read Easy website
- Maintain the group’s Facebook page & set up and maintain our Twitter/Instagram accounts
- Use social media to raise our profile with local organisations and potential volunteers
- Organise, manage and distribute publicity materials
- Identify opportunities for publicity locally or nationally
- Attend regular team meetings, typically every 5 weeks
