Black Country Living Museum are looking for volunteers to support our Events team during Museum events.
Successful applicants will be invited to a volunteer induction day on 5th March 2024.
What will you be doing?
- Install/deinstall of events
- Signing in contractors and supplying them with key information
- Stewarding and marshalling key areas of the site
- Feedback insights about the event to the Events Manager
What are we looking for?
- Excellent people skills
- A proactive approach, with the ability to problem-solve
- Interest in events
- Enthusiasm and interest in Museums and heritage
Please note that, due to safeguarding, we are unable to take on any individual under the age of 16 at this time.

We ensure that the revolutionary story of the Black Country’s industrial landscape – the first ever of its kind in the UK – is celebrated by generations. We are currently embarking upon our largest development ever, with a multi-million-pound investment bringing our story into the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
