Black Country Cohousing aims to build a vibrant, inclusive co-housing community in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. We are passionate about creating an accessible, sustainable and supportive place to call home, where residents of all ages and backgrounds can live in affordable, secure accommodation. We are committed to the principles of cooperation, social responsibility, mutual respect, and environmental responsibility.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join our Community Outreach team, helping us to spread the word about cohousing and housing co-operatives and attract new members who share our values.
What you’ll do:
Attend community events, fairs, and festivals to promote Black Country Cohousing, cohousing and housing co-operatives in general
Set up and staff an information stall, answering questions about cohousing and our community
Hand out leaflets and other promotional materials
Network with other organisations and individuals to raise awareness of cohousing
Help to organise events and activities that showcase the benefits of cohousing
Contribute to the development and implementation of our community outreach strategy
